A2 motorcycle training and testing are on a motorcycle of 120 to 125 cc, capable of reaching at least 62 mph but not more than 14.6 bhp ( 11kw )
passing the practical test gets you a restricted category A2 licence, which lets you ride any motorcycle up to 33 bhp ( 25 kw ). And not exceeding 0.16 kw / kg power to weight ratio.
You can carry a passenger and travel on motorways and don't need l plates.
If your machine exceeds 33 bhp , you can have a restrictor kit fitted.
after 2 years it becomes a full category A licence and you can ride any size motorcycle, even if you are under 21 years old.
WHAT DOES IT COST ?

this course is ideal for someone who can ride a motorcycle competently.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO THIS COURSE ?
You will need a valid cbt certificate and a valid theory test certificate.
and be 17 years old or above.
WHATS THE BEST WAY TO BOOK IT ?
To book , we require prepayment, as we have to pre-book your test appointments and we are presently booking 5 to 6 weeks ahead, so its best sometimes to book with us before your theory test, to save waiting time
BOOKING CONDITIONS.
sorry but we have to state some not so small print, please read.
Once the course is booked , and training days arranged. It is your responsibility to turn up punctually on the day. if you fail to turn up, or turn up late, you will need to rebook the time you lost at your expense.
On our courses.
We do supply fully comprehensive insurance for our bikes, but there is a £250 excess. So should you damage the machines, you will be held liable for the first £250 of any claim. as we teach you to ride safely and competently. but do not expect them to be damaged or abused in any way.
also on the test days,
You will need to have with you your cbt certificate, theory pass certificate, both parts of your driving licence and if on module 2, you will also need your module 1 pass certificate.
Failure to have these items and the examiner will not take you and the dsa keep the test fee.
So unfortunately you will be liable to pay for another test fee and time needed to return for another test and any expenses incurred.
FINALLY
We do aim for ,expect and achieve, good results on our courses.
But cannot be held liable for you failing on either your module 1 or module 2 practical tests.
We guarantee, should you fail on either test, it will not be because you were not ready.
So you will need to pay if needed, for any additional test fees, expenses and time needed, beyond your first attempt at either test, payable before the test day.
